These browsers can be downloaded for free. We try our best to test with various browser makers and versions. We also test KanjiStep Pages for different operating systems; however, testing is time consuming and we cannot cover cover everything. We get a lot of questions related to PC or operating system setup which we cannot cover. Before you contact us, please install the latest browser version and reboot your machine. Should you still have problems viewing our pages please contact us at support@kanjistep.com. We do our best to support you. Reading Japanese with Non-Japanese Browser: During the creation of KanjStep we have come across the challenge to serve web pages containing Japanese characters to users of non Japanese browsers or systems. Fortunately most newer browser versions support the use of Japanese fonts if they are available on the system. In order to use KanjiStep you do not need be able to type Japanese but you must have Japanese Fonts installed and setup your browser to use these fonts. Microsoft's IE has language options that can be downloaded from their site. Another work around is to install the GLOBAL IME which allows text input in Japanese or other languages. For more information have a look at Global IME 5.01 at microsoft's website. If you are using Internet Explorer 3, or other browser not supporting Japanese or have not Japanese fonts installed on your system you may download Japanese language fonts from here: These fonts are for the windows use.
